Frances Rojas Hernandez "Nana", 85, went to be with the Lord after a long battle with dementia in her Oklahoma City home on January 4, 2022. She was born on April 2, 1936 in Laredo, Texas to Francisco and Maria (De Luz) Rojas. She spent many years working for AT&T until she retired and spent her time as a homemaker. She married Merce Hernandez on February 22, 1958. Frances was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters as well as her children, Michael Hernandez, Angela Ochoa, and Kryss Hernandez. Survivors include her husband Merce; sons, Merce Hernandez Jr., Louis Hernandez, and Dakota Hernandez; her sister, Maime Zamarripa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday, January 9, 11am-5pm with family present at 6pm for a rosary service at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany. Services will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10am at St. James the Greater Catholic Church with interment in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City. .
