Frances L. Barringer, age 89, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Bethany. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wendell, of 62 years; and daughters, Theresa Pfleiderer and Dianna Cloud. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Berry and husband Harold, Gina McLean and husband Don, Wanda Dees and husband Paul; 6 grandchildren, Shane McFadden and wife Jenna, Wilson Roberts and wife Alycia, Lisa Brozenic and husband David, Leslie Dyer, Rebecca Babcock and husband Rob, and Katie Dees; and 11 great-grandchildren, Allyson McFadden, Blaec Roberts, Trinity Davis, Trent McFadden, Taylor Boyce, Ian Davis, Ty Roberts, Layla Davis, Riley Brozenic, Ivan Brozenic, and Sergio Babcock. Frances was a practicing registered nurse for over 40 years and was best known for her skill at starting IV's. Frances was quite a seamstress while her 5 girls were growing up and always made the entire family matching outfits for every Easter and Christmas. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease over 20 years ago. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 7-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Saturday, May 31, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Research.
