From daughter, Laura:
As I sit here thinking about what to say about our dadmy mind goes blankmaybe talking about some of our memories will help others see the kind of person he was.
He worked a lotmaybe a little too much but he loved what he did (jeweler). He brought his family to the United States to give them a better life.
He loved telling people funny jokes or sayings. He loved to singas he aged, he began to forget some of the words but that wouldnt stop him. Aside from his singing were his dance moves. He loved to dancehis walker nor his cane could stop him.
Those funny faces he would give us to get a laugh out of us we will never forget.
He had a huge sweet tooth. He loved his pastries with milk or coffee. He could probably eat that all day everyday if we wouldve let him.
He was a very faithful manhe would get up early Sunday mornings to attend mass. Even after his later years when he couldnt attend mass anymorehis faith remained strong.
He loved his family. Even in his final moments he made sure to tell us how much he loved us. He ensured that we were protected and safe. We will always treasure every loving memoryevery birthday and holiday we spent together.
