She helped with Camp Fire Girls, Band Boosters, Alpha Gam moms club and many other activities. She loved to help others.
Frank and Faye were in many bowling leagues over the years, and they loved to camp. They enjoyed many trips to state and national parks. They often traveled with Franks siblings who had RVs. Their favorite trips involved taking their grandchildren with them in the RV for summer vacations to Colorado, the lake and to Branson, which was a sleepy little hillbilly town when they first started going there. It was their favorite destination.
Faye was a volunteer at Deaconess Hospital for 40 years. She served as President of their Auxiliary. She made baby bonnets and puppets for children, helped with the Care Gram, bake sales, cookbooks, retreats, and chili suppers. She accrued over 34,500 volunteer hours and loved every minute of it. She was creative and was an excellent seamstress. She made Karens wedding gown. She was always doing some type of stitchery-crochet, cross-stitch, crewel needlepoint. She was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and loved to bake. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Warr Acres travel club.
