Fannie Mae Mathis, 86, passed peacefully on July 10. Born to Clarence and Birdie Davis in Shawnee, OK, Fannie was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence Jr., Thomas, and John and sister, Katherine. Fannie is survived by her husband, Victor T. Mathis; daughter, Vicki Anne (Mathis) Seide and husband Norman; sons, Steven Kent and Paul David; grandson, Samuel Aaron Seide; granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth (Seide) ONeil; and three great-grandchildren. Fannie worked at Northwest Baptist Church as church receptionist, and later as Sunday School coordinator for the preschool department. She devoted her life to her family as homemaker and mother, and to her church family at Quail Springs Baptist Church. Services are Thursday, July 14, 10:00 AM at Quail Springs Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fannies name to the building fund at Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
