Faith Jane Lewis was born on July 5, 1939 and left to meet her heavenly father on February 17, 2011. Jane was born in Fredrick, Oklahoma, the fourth of five children. She attended Faxon High School. On November 27, 1957, she married Harvey Malcholm Lewis from Geronimo, Oklahoma. Soon after, they moved to Oklahoma City where they currently reside. Jane was a district sales manager for World Book Encyclopedia for 13 years in western Oklahoma while she raised her three boys, Michael David, Jeffrey Craig, and John Darrin. In 1989, Harvey and Jane opened Lewis and Associates Public Insurance Adjusters, where Jane served as the Vice-President. Harvey and Jane spent their free time operating Lewis Ranch in Geronimo, Oklahoma. Jane was very active at her church, Putnam City Baptist. Through her faith, she was able to minister to others and touch the lives of many. Her immediate survivors are her husband, Harvey; her 3 children, Michael of Edmond, OK, Jeff of OKC, and John of OKC; her 3 grandchildren, Katie Grace, Rachel Michelle, and Hannah Faith; and her 4 siblings, Paul Dave and Mary Ann Carson of Chattanooga, OK, Maurice and Charlene Carson of Salado, TX, Diana and Roger Potts of Mustang, OK, and Rosemary and Danny Wiley of OKC, OK. She was preceded in death by her father, Oran Carson, and her mother, Grace Overstreet. Jane will be buried in Resurrection Cemetery. There will be a viewing at Mercer Adams Funeral Service on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 12:00pm. Services will be held at Putnam City Baptist Church at 2:00pm on Monday, February 21, 2011.
