Everett Martin, 96, passed away September 23, 2013. He was born July 21, 1917 in Saint Jo, Texas to James and Mary (Crunk) Martin. He worked as a truck specialist for Ford Motor Company and was a greeter and usher since 1945 at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. He married Mildred Buck on Aug. 21, 1937, and they enjoyed 72 years together. Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mildred, he is survived by sons, Marshall Martin and wife Loretta of Amarillo, TX, Keith Martin and wife Esther of Celina, OH; grandchildren, Roger Martin and wife Kathy of Norman, Brian Martin and wife Katrina and Michele Martin, all of Amarillo, TX, Timothy Martin and wife Christa of Portland, OR; 6 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Thursday, 8am-9pm, with the family receiving guests from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, Sept. 27, 2:00pm at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
