Funeral services for Evelyn Rogers, 95, will be 3:00pm, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel on NW Expressway. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK. Evelyn and Carthol (deceased 1988) were well-known Florists for many years in Oklahoma City. Evelyn and Carthol were married over 54 years and had a son, Vincent (deceased 2011), a daughter, Carol Lynn Roberts, Norman, OK, and a son, Roger D. and wife Lynne of OKC. Other survivors include grandchildren, Lynn Roberts, OKC, Scott Roberts and wife Diane, Ketchum, OK, Christian Rogers and wife Stephanie, Guthrie, OK, and Tyler Ray and husband Ean, OKC; sisters, Flora Lee Mee, Edmond, OK, Ruth Sims, Fresno, CA; brother, Ted Vinsant, Grants Pass, OR; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Dick Vinsant. Evelyn always had a passion for music and enjoyed entertaining at retirement centers.
