Evelyn Gilley was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on December 7, 1925, and peacefully passed away in her home on December 14, 2020, at the age of 95. Her parents were Julius Daniel Thompson and Martha Ellen Lemen Thompson. Evelyn was the middle child of seven children. She always said, "the middle child didnt get a middle name." Evelyn was a great cook and she liked flower bouquets. She attended Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City until she moved back to California to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She then attended Cross City Christian Church in Fresno, California. She was faithful to her Lord Jesus Christ. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Sue Hansen and husband, Harlan, of Madera, California; sister, Ruth Rackley of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; granddaughter, April Linnette Lee and husband, Bryan, of Chandler, OK; grandson, Eric Hansen and wife, Jennifer, of Malibu, California; grandson, Bryan Hansen and wife, Kristen, of Edmond, OK; and 5 great-grandchildren, Anderson, Annabelle, Adeline, Nolan, and Connor. She was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Thompson, Kathryn Muriel Miller and husband Bill, Dorothy Louise Buffington and husband Ralph, Ruth Frances Rackley and husband Leonard; two brothers, Raymond Jack Thompson and wife Hertha and Franklin Leon Thompson and wife Laura.
