Evelyn L. Calder, born 10/24/1919 to Roy and Lillian Morton, attended Culbertson, Central H.S., graduating in 1938. At O.U., she was Kappa Delta Pi and Fi Beta Sigma and on the Deans list. In 1941, she married Major D.H. Dines and from that marriage issued Donald A. and L. Carolyn Dines. In 1953, she married John W. Calder and from that issued Steven M. Calder. Her main interests were family, travel and Duplicate Bridge, she achieved Life Master. She taught Speech and History for 30 years in Oklahoma schools. Preceding her in death were her husband and both sons. She is survived by daughter, Carol; grandchildren, Greg, Courtney, Nathan, Katelyn; cousin, Bill Pond; daughters-in-law, Janet, Julie and Annette. Memorial service will be Monday, February 6, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel. In lieu of flowers, send funds to Linwood Methodist Church.
