Eula Mae married Ed Williams, her third husband and another Nazarene minister, in 2020. They shared a love of God and family. Eula Mae and Ed spent 3 years together with family and friends before Ed passed away in 2023.
Eula Mae held Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Music Education, as well as a Master's of Music. She taught elementary school for 7 years and spent 50+ years teaching piano, organ, conducting, and improvisation. Eula Mae taught at Rose State College in the School of Music for 7 years. Other accomplishments include serving as the Vice President of Christian Musicians International, editing On Key Magazine , playing for many Nazarene District Assemblies, and authoring Creative Hymn Playing for Children . She spent her early retirement years continuing to teach piano and coordinating music at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene for the Prayer & Praise Service. At age 90, she retired from all of her duties.
Eula Mae was preceded by her parents, Frank and Mary Ethel Scales; her four brothers, Kenneth Scales, Wayne Scales, Benny Scales, and Glen Scales; and her three husbands, Charles Stipe, Dwight Neuenschwander, and Ed Williams.
She is survived by her children, Denise Fitch and Paul Stipe; and step-children, Ed and Rhonda Neuenschwander, Nancy and Mike Howie, Mike and Karen Williams, Mark and Dawn Williams, Debbie and Danny Loyd, and Jim and Cindy Williams. She is also survived by over 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Zachary Stipe, Lauren Nuygen, Misty Roth, and Maya Fitch.
