Obituary

Ethel Daisy Seher, of Bethany, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 30, 2018. She was born December 8, 1934, in El Reno, Oklahoma to Thomas and Ethel Morse. She grew up in El Reno, OK and graduated from El Reno High School. Ethel is survived by her son, Don Randell and wife Brenda; her daughter, Rita Randell Head; her grandchildren, Jeremy and Tracy Randell, Brandon Randell and Jennifer Head; her great grandchildren, Riley, Angel, Viviana and Noah; her sisters, Rosie and Kathleen; and many family members and friends. Ethel will be remembered as a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved to cook for and feed her family and friends. She was always willing to "fry something up for you." She touched the lives of many students as a baker for Putnam City Schools for over 30 years. Her famous, hand rolled "Putnam City Cinnamon Rolls" were loved by children of all ages. She was a charter member of Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She was an active member of her beloved Good Samaritans Sunday School Class. She volunteered for many years as a chaplain in local hospitals and proudly served on the Bethany Planning and Zoning Committee for 20 years. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but we rejoice in knowing that she had dedicated her life to Christ and now has everlasting life. Family visitation will be Sunday, September 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 4th, at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Cemetery, OKC following her service.
