Obituary

Ervin Leon Warren was born March 3, 1958 in Oklahoma City Ok and went to be with Jesus on July 27th, 2019. Erv worked for OG&E for over 30 years. He was the Manager of Wildlife and Waste Management and loved almost every minute of it. He took great pride in his job and always wanted to ensure things were done correctly. He went above and beyond for his employees because he was fair and cared for each and every one of them. Erv graduated from OSU "Go Cowboys" in Wildlife Management so this part of the job was extra special to him as he was a nature lover! Erv was an avid outdoorsman. He was robust and passionate about everything including hunting, fishing, and motocross. He especially enjoyed working on his farm and getting it ready for deer season. This was so much fun for him! Erv was a huge John Wayne enthusiast, and if you were not, well, he just did not understand that! Erv loved history, especially the Civil War and the World Wars. He read, studied and did all kinds of research on the subject. He and Cindy were very blessed to take a trip to Gettysburg in 2016 and it was one of their very best trips. They enjoyed that so much. His black lab "Colt" was the apple of his eye and they simply adored each other. They walked and took journeys every single day together. Colt misses his dad too!!! Erv was a one of a kind man's man, who never met a stranger, and everyone who met him was better for it! Erv loved life, he loved God, he loved his family, and he loved his friends. He was a passionate soul and God touched many lives through his. This world is a darker place without him. No words can express the loss of this great man. Everyone who knew him is so thankful and we all have some amazing memories. We will see you soon! We know you are telling some great stories in Heaven. I love you Ervin with ALL MY HEART!!! Erv is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cindy Warren; daughter, Brittany Warren; son, Shade Warren; grandsons, Jaedon and Kason Warren; sister, Judy Warren; brother, Loyde Warren and wife Londa; many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.
