Ervin L. Cleavelin, Jr., passed away December 8, 2013. He was born December 14, 1918 in Walters, OK to Ervin and Viola (Godfrey) Cleavelin, Sr. He was a proud 23 year veteran of the USAF and retired from Civil Service after 18 years as an electrical instructor and educator. He was a member of Putnam City United Methodist Church and the American Legion Retired Officers Assoc. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Josephine; and granddaughter, Viki Jo Cleavelin. Survivors include his sons, Rod Cleavelin and wife Ginger, Tulsa, OK, Rinn Cleavelin and wife Nita, Lubbock, TX; daughters, Nancy Luper and husband Kenneth, OKC; Niki Furrh and husband Tony, OKC; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be Friday, December 13, 2:00pm at Putnam City United Methodist Church with interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Putnam City United Methodist Church.
