Ernestene Seitz Patton, 83, died Sept. 6, 2011. She was born Feb. 4, 1928 in Quanah, TX to Ernest and Myrtle (Hopkins) Seitz. She married Hershel Leroy Patton on Jan. 3, 1948 in Pampa, TX and they enjoyed 63 wonderful years together. With that marriage, she inherited 5 sisters and 5 brothers: Iweta, Claudia, Betty and Lovella of Amarillo, TX, George of Salem, VA, and Bobby of Carthage, TX. Glena, E.H., Nep, Clyde preceded her in death. Leroy and Ernestenes family grew to include Ernie Royce and his wife Sharon of Yukon, OK, Waylon Dale of OKC, and Janet LaDella of OKC; 14 grandchildren, Christopher and wife Georgia of Akron, OH, Scott and wife Leah of Yukon, OK, Shane, Amy, Sara, Rachel, Leigh Hinshaw and husband John of Sachse, TX, Denver, Ashton, Anna and Jacey; and great-grandchild, Sydney. She is survived by a brother, W.T. Seitz and wife Glendean of Amarillo, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, Sept. 9, 2:00pm at Calvary Church of the Nazarene with entombment in Resurrection Mausoleum.
