Ernest Stanley Martin was born December 1, 1948 and passed peacefully into eternal life with Jesus on August 22, 2017. In 1990, he retired from a 20-year career in the United States Air Force, where he was Chief of Chaplain Support Activity for Maxwell and Gunter Air Force Bases, Alabama. After retirement, he completed bachelors and masters degrees from Southern Nazarene University, pastored a church in Guthrie, OK, and taught English at Korea Nazarene University. Stan is survived by his wife, Jeanne; four adult children; 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family present from 2-4pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held at 10:30am, Monday, August 28, 2017, at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
