Ernest Edwin Daniel, 95, passed away in Bethany, OK on July 2, 2018. He was born in Chickasha, OK on February 2, 1923 to Claude and Nell McKown Daniel. Ernie married the love of his life, Ruby Nell Odom. He received a B.A. and masters degree from Central State University and enjoyed his career in public education as a teacher at US Grant High School in Oklahoma City. Ernie was a 32nd degree Mason. He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid sports fan, especially baseball and basketball. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nell; daughter, Darla Ellingsworth and grandson, Scott Ellingsworth. He is survived by his son, Richard Daniel (Vicki); grandson, Kyle Daniel (Amy); granddaughters, Tracy Noyes (Jeff) and Carrie Donovan (Steve); and great-grandchildren, Olivia Daniel, Kaelyn Daniel, Colter Noyes, Zachary Noyes, Brandon Donovan and Ryan Donovan.
