Eric Ian Steenerson, age 60, passed away May 6, 2026 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born December 20, 1965, in Norman, OK to Kay and Al Steenerson. He graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City.

Eric held a CDL license and drove the big trucks. He worked for the City of Oklahoma City for several years. He was a very skilled person and loved to paint. He was also a talented motorcycle rider as well as an animal lover. He had a great personality and natural wit. He grew up with his brother, Chris Steenerson.

Eric donated his organs and Life Share did a great job matching to recipients. He leaves many memories of the good times and we are sad that they ended.

Eric was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Ben and Myrtle McElhaney; his father, Al Steenerson; and stepfather, Carl Franklin, and his favorite uncle and aunt, Bennie and Mesha McElhaney.

He is survived by his mother, Kay Moore; stepfather, Willard Moore; brother, Chris Steenerson and wife Shelby; son, Aaron Steenerson and wife Nikki; stepson, Shawn Falk; grandsons, Jack Steenerson and Chase Falk; nieces, Kayla and Rachel; nephews, Trevor and Brandon; special cousins, Leanne, Bryan and John; and a host of other family members.

No services are scheduled at this time. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
