Elzene Faye Dyer of Yukon, 75, peacefully passed October 20, 2018 in Oklahoma City. Elzene was born November 8, 1942 in Prairie Grove, AK. She was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School and also earned her Associates Degree in Accounting. She retired from her position as Accounting Supervisor at the Oklahoma County Court Clerks Office. She enjoyed walking, shopping, traveling, tutoring students at Whiz Kids, and gardening at her beautiful home in Yukon. Mostly, Elzene enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dyer; her son, Les Louthan, and his wife, Jennifer; her daughter, Sherri Smith, and her husband, Tim; her granddaughter, Lael Ewing, and her husband Reed; her grandsons, Zak Louthan, Paxton Smith, and Tucker Smith; her great grandchildren, Cannon and Collins Ewing; her siblings, Janell Brown, Twila Howard, and her husband, Floyd, Harvey Chadwell, and Mike Chadwell, and his wife, Karen; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Elzene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harvey and Mary Chadwell, and her siblings, Marilyn, Wenzell, Cecil, and Judy Lay.
Viewing at Mercer Adams, Wednesday, October 24, from 9am to 9pm with family from 6 to 8. Funeral Service at Olivet Baptist Church, October 25, at 10 with internment at Yukon Cemetery.
Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: "There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!" Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. Proverbs 31: 28-31
