Obituary

Elnora "Louise" Milligan, 91, passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2026, in Bethany, OK with her family by her side. She was born December 13, 1934, to Elmo and Hazel Sims in Watonga, OK. She graduated from Watonga High School and briefly attended college in Weatherford. She was the society editor for the newspaper in Watonga and also wrote for the newspaper in Houston, TX. She met the love of her life, Curtis "Mike" Milligan in 1954 in Watonga, and they were married on March 19, 1955, in Oklahoma City.

Louise, or "Weezie," enjoyed foreign travel, and was an avid reader. She volunteered at the 45th Infantry Museum during its founding days. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved spending time with family. Louise was always the life of the party and had a great sense of humor. She was an incredibly generous person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved spouse of 50 years, Mike; and infant daughter, Angela. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Wonderly and spouse Jeff of Bethany; granddaughter, Amber Harbison and spouse Tyler of Bethany; niece, Jan Milligan and spouse James Duncan of Dallas, TX; and many other beloved family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 24, 2:00pm, at IOOF Cemetery in Watonga.
