Eldred Mirl Barlow, 90, died February 3, 2021 in Bethany, OK. She was born June 5, 1930 in Ward Springs, OK to Burl and Lavon Wimberly. She was a lifelong member of Friendship Church of the Nazarene, serving as a board member in previous years. She retired from First National Bank and Trust in McAlester and spent her retirement on her family birthplace. Eldred was an avid gardener, seamstress, and a master of crochet. Her crochet work has been sent across the world as gifts to people that requested her work as gifts. Eldred was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons, Gerald Michael "Mike" Barlow and Chad Ray Barlow, and her sister and brother-in-law, Elwin and Jay Wood. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Lou Wilson and husband Rick of Bethany, OK; daughters-in-law, Brenda K. Barlow, Choctaw, OK and Kathy Barlow, McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Mandy Barlow of Choctaw, Jeff Wilson and wife Amy of Bethany, Ben Barlow and wife Brooke of Rock Island, Nikki Conley and husband Kevin of Choctaw, and Kim Allen and husband Palmer of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Justice Barlow, Allison and Matthew Wilson, Lynden, Gavin, Brynn, and Emily Barlow, Trey and Emma Hudson, and Henry and Samuel Allen; her brothers, Durrell Wimberly and wife Loretta, Dewey Wimberly and wife Patricia of Friendship/Ward Springs area; special niece, Dawanna Glover and husband Ted; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and former daughter-in-law, Brenda L. Barlow of Pocola. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 13, 1:00pm at Pryor Cemetery, Stuart, OK. .
