Elaine Susan Couch, 76, died May 20, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born July 16, 1946 to Paul and Veronica (Sabol) Oleksa in Youngstown, OH. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelors in mathematics. Elaine met Thomas J. Couch at their first college class ~ Chemistry 101, and they married on Sept. 20, 1968 in Youngstown. Elaine worked as an administrative assistant for the U.S. Government. A pilots wife, she lived in many places and always made her house a home. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and Sudoku. She was an excellent cook and loved feeding her family. Her greatest delight was her two daughters and her granddaughter. Preceded in death by her parents, survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas "Tom" Couch; daughters, Laura, and Heidi; granddaughter, Lisa Wegener; siblings, Paul Oleksa and wife Pat, Veronica Gronemyer and husband Steve, Fran Adair and husband Warren, Mike Oleksa, Joe Oleksa and wife Nancy, and Steve Oleksa and wife Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members. Memorial services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK. Memorials may be made to United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) in Elaines name. .
