Edward Daniel Keleher, 86, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2014. He was born in Sterling, Oklahoma to Morgan Paul and Barbara Lenore (Schaeffer) Keleher. He grew up on a farm, the youngest of seven siblings, graduated from Sterling High School and joined the Navy. He then moved to Oklahoma City, graduated from OCU and married his wife of 65 years, Charylene. Ed worked in the oil and gas business until retirement. Never one to meet a stranger, Ed was passionate about sports and loved to play golf. Ed's love of cooking and gardening is shared by many in his family. Preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Ed is survived by his sister, Helen Kimble; his wife, Charylene Liles Keleher; daughters, Pam Riefe and her husband Rick, and Kris Mattison. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Ben Riefe and his wife Marilyn, Jess Riefe and his wife Jen, Anna Curran and her husband Brian, Adam Riefe, Beth Riefe, Chase Mattison, Nathan Mattison and Ali Mattison; and six great-grandchildren. He will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at Westminster Presbyterian Church Chapel with burial following at Fort Sill National Cemetery.
