Edward "Bud" Forrest Glaze, 93, met his Savior face to face on July 7, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He was born December 29, 1922 in Rhea, OK to John and Annie (Gaines) Glaze. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. Bud retired from Metheny Concrete in 2004 and was a charter member of Tulakes Baptist Church. On December 8, 1951, he married Elizabeth Wilcox in Oklahoma City. Edward was a man of courage, hard work, dedication, never known to complain and a man after Gods own heart. He loved life more than words could say. You could always count on Bud to be there to listen or help no matter the hour. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, wife and son, Jim Glaze. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Black and husband Jim of OKC and Debra Thornton of Norman; daughter-in-law, Paula Glaze of OKC; grandchildren, Melissa Satterlee, Jeremy Black, Ryan, Tyler and Trey Glaze, Rodney Thornton and Shenishia Booth. Bud is also survived by great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends. Viewing will be 11am-9pm on Sunday at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service.
