Edna Earle Davis, 85, died January 17, 2014. She was born August 25, 1928 in Meridian, MS to Preston and Ola Mae (Warren) Thomas. She was a longtime member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Sam; daughter, Debbie Davis Curry; 1 sister and 2 brothers. Survivors include her sons, Rusty Davis and wife Paula, Sam Davis and wife Roxana; sister, Dorothy Newman; son-in-law, Mike Curry; brother-in-law, Solon Davis; 10 grandchildren, Ben, Emily, Matt, Julie, Stephanie, Jeff, Alyson, Andy, Samuel and Bruno; and 13 grandchildren, Jevin, Pierce, Emily, Zach, Nick, Nolan, Noell, Fielding, Anna, Luke, Hudson, Mason and Wyatt. Viewing will begin Sunday at noon, with a visitation with family present on Monday from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2:00pm at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
