Edith Fae Nelms, born in Erick, Oklahoma on March 25, 1916, died at her home in Douglasville, Georgia on March 8, 2009. She is survived by two children, Karan Fae Smith and Earl LaQuien Nelms; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; 3 sisters, Wynetta Chick, Joy Cheuveront and Fern Blankenship, all of Oklahoma City; and brother, Donald Wilson of Sacramento, California. Viewing will be Thursday, March 12, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, March 13, 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany.
