E. Dewayne Hood, 73, of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 5, 2011. Dewayne was born Oct. 15, 1937 in Edmond, OK to Edgar John and Viola Mae Panick Hood. He attended Southeast High and served in the Air Force. He was a heavy duty truck salesman for 30 years for Sooner Ford and Rush Peterbilt in OKC. He loved family gatherings, working in his yard and, in his later years, riding his Harley Davidson. He also liked to remodel his homes and did so to each one he owned. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Mickey, brother Ken, and sisters Georgia and Carolyn. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn; sons Mark and wife Sandra, Michael and wife Roberta; brother Ricky and wife Marie; his precious grandchildren Chad, Amanda, and Christopher Hood; step-granddaughter Christa Estell; and step-great-grandchild Riley. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo, NW 50th and Grove, at 2:00pm, Sat., March 12, 2011.
