Dwight Ray Hyde, 76, passed away May 17, 2024, at his home in Oklahoma City. He was born November 19, 1947, to Ralph and Lucille (Andrews) Hyde in LaGrande, Oregon. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School. Dwight married Gwendolyn Lamb on September 9, 1972.

Dwight enjoyed a career as an insurance agent, specializing in long term care. He owned his own business, Hyde and Associates, and was associated with Banker's Life and Casualty as well as Old Surety. He was an active member of Metropolitan Bible Church and was a part of the Wednesday morning men's Bible study group.

When Dwight's children were young, he loved coaching their ball teams and going on family vacations. In later years, Dwight enjoyed skeet shooting with old friends and being with his beloved grandchildren, "Mister and Punkin," as much as he could.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gwen; and daughter, Rhaelynn Hyde. He is survived by his son, Daryl Hyde and wife Jessica; brother, Gordon Hyde; and two grandchildren, Dane and Hannah.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 10:00am, at Metropolitan Bible Church with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Viewing at the church will begin one hour prior to the service.
