Obituary

Doyne (Don) M. Hudson died on November 20, 2013 in Oklahoma City. Don was born March 7, 1930 in Bruno, AR to James and Jennie Massey Hudson. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Bruno High School and received his PhD from the University of the Ozarks, College of Pharmacy in Clarksville, AR, and was employed for 32 years with Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals. Don was an active volunteer at Integris Baptist Medical Center and was a member of the Oklahoma Seniors Golf Association and Masonic Lodge #36. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Hilda and brother, Jim. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty; two sons, Jim Hudson and wife Cynthia of Dallas, TX and Bob Hudson and wife Lisa of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughter, Amy Reeves and husband Ryan; grandsons, Brian Hudson and wife Lindsey, Mike and Rob ; great grandchildren, Mason and Brynlee Reeves; sister, Beulah Blankenship; brother, Loyde Hudson both of Fayetteville, AR. Visitation will be from 11am to 9pm Sunday at Mercer Adams Chapel with family present from 3-5pm. Graveside service will be 10am Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Memorial Service will be 2pm on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 7900 Devore Drive in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Integris Hospice House or Highland Hills Baptist Church.
