Doyl Hubert Dickson was called home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on December 24, 2019. Doyl was born to Arthur and Ruth Dickson on January 1, 1932 in Okfuskee, OK. On January 11, 1958, he married the love of his life, Anna Faye Holman. They were married for 59 years. Doyl was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic supervisor on B-52s for over 30 years. Doyl enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, making jelly, and spending time with his family. Doyl was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and his beloved wife Anna. Doyl is survived by his two daughters, Beverly Cotner and husband, John of OKC and Amy Cole and husband, Phillip of OKC. The absolute joy of his life were his grandchildren, Chad Cotner of Sherman Oaks, CA, Sara Jones and husband, Cameron of Las Vegas, NV and Emily Cole of Oklahoma City. Doyl is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Viewing will be Monday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service.
