Dorothy Mae Rice, 95, died on October 14, 2017. She was born October 22, 1921 in Peniel, TX. Her family relocated to Bethany, OK to help start and support the church and Bethany Peniel and Bethany Nazarene College. Dorothy attended Bethany Nazarene College, majoring in Fine Arts. She Married Keith C. Rice in 1942. Dorothy worked many interesting jobs including working on planes during the war. Her life was a tribute to Gods love and her service to others unending.She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Columbus Rice; son, Edwin Lewis Rice; all her brothers, Doug Ridings, Paul Ridings, Seth Ridings and Lewis Ridings; and sisters, Essie Northsworthy and Mary Green.Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Claudette Rice and Marilyn Hesselgren; her four granddaughters, Shelly Phillips, Stacey Hawley, Adrian Young and Kristin Blanset; and nine beloved great-grandchildren.
