Our beloved Mom, Grams, and Great Grams, Dorothy (DeeDee) Louise Smith Miller went into the arms of Jesus her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2023 with her loving daughter, Kathy, and the excellent care of Valir Hospice by her side. Dorothy was born January 11, 1935 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to William "Bill" Smith and Helen Genevieve Henn Smith. She graduated from Cheyenne Senior High School in 1953 and thereafter attended college at the University of Wyoming where, in 1957, she graduated with a bachelors degree. Dorothy married Stanley Eugene Miller in 1957. They had three children: Wade Dennis Miller, Sheryl Nadine Miller, and Kathryn Anne Miller. Dorothy enjoyed spending her time traveling, sewing, and creating arts & crafts. She also loved spending time with her family, her friends, and attending various social events. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City and enjoyed participating in their quilting group. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Kathryn Wiley Bradshaw; and her daughter, Sheryl Nadine Miller. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kathy, and her husband, Sterling Stalder; Kathys daughter, Caroline and her husband Nick Hoogendoorn, with their two boys, Daniel Thomas and Henri David; Sterlings sons, Haydn and Nathan Stalder; her son, Wade Miller, his daughter Katy and her husband, Clint Grow with their son, Shepard; and her beloved nieces, Jan Wiley and Linda Harrington.
