Kepler, Dorothy G. (Dot), age 87, of OKC, passed away August 23, 2015 after a short illness. Dot was born in Snyder, OK on August 11, 1928 to Sam and Dorothy (Grant) Dies. Dot and her sister, Helen, were raised on the family farm in Choctaw by their Aunt Joy. Dot had many fond memories of times she spent helping her grandfather on the farm and visiting with aunts, uncles and many cousins when they came to visit. Dot graduated from Choctaw High School and received a B.S. Degree in Business from OCW-Chickasha. Dot married Rev. Charles L. Kepler in November 1958. Dot and Charles served churches in Illinois and Oklahoma. Dot held many positions during her life, but was retired from OG&E. Dot was a member of Church of the Servant UMC. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Helen, and two brothers, Donald Dies and Harry Porter Dees. Dot is survived by her sons, Kent and Kregg of OKC; one daughter, Karyn (Brian) Burrell of Vero Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Teri Griffith (Steve Graham), Brian Keith Kepler (Michelle), Vail Burrell, Blake Burrell, Mitchell Trace, and Ian Hecht; and great-grandchildren, Spencer Keely, Madison Keely, Micah Moore, Dominic Moore, November Landry, Charles Grayson Griffith, Julian Griffith, Bristol Kepler, Mike Graham (Brittany), Rich Graham; and great-great-grandchildren, Kiera Graham and Asher Graham. Memorial services will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00pm. Memorials may be made in her name to Church of the Servant UMC Music Ministry.
