Dorothy Edgerton was born December 29, 1935 in Pampa, TX to Eddie Lee and Hazel (Epperson) Gray. She entered her heavenly home on January 26, 2018. She worked as a secretary for Seagate Software. She loved arts and crafts, jewelry, painting, participating in the church pottery and ceramics, fishing and RVing. Dorothy was a long-time member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and the "Great Expectations" Sunday School Class. She was also involved with Children of the Word, Angel Tree, and Steve & Brenda Heap Missionary Chapter. She was a charter member of Lake Overholser Church of the Nazarene. She and Howard were members of Silver Chords choirs at Dale Robertson Senior Center in Yukon the last 12 years. She loved family gatherings and spending time with the grandkids. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Howard; daughters, Regina Frazier and husband Jim and Ronna Fisher and husband Kedron; son, Randy Edgerton; grandchildren, Chris Frazier, Wendi Sims and husband Brandon and Jacob Fisher; great-grandchildren, Kamron Sims and Maeleigh Sims; sisters, Bonnie Howard and Marilyn May and husband Tom; six nieces and seven nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service from 5pm-9pm Tues., January 30 and 9am-9pm Wed., January 31 with family present from 6-8pm. Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, February 1 at Bethany First Nazarene Church, Chapel in the Round with interment to follow in Frisco Cemetery.
