Dorotha Elizabeth Kyle, 88 of Bethany, born February 6, 1922 in Black Fork, Arkansas, passed away February 8, 2010 in Muskogee, Oklahoma after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvis Louis and Martha Elizabeth May; her husband, Kenneth Kyle; son, Charles Kyle; daughter, LaWanda Lindsey; brothers, Elvis May Jr., Arthur Lee May, Harmon Louis May; and sisters, Pauline and Jerldeen May. Dorotha is survived by daughter, Janice (Richard) Murray, Aubrey, TX; brothers Luther (LaDonna) May, Culver, OR, Johnny (Jonita) May, Sweet Home, OR, Thurman (Linda) May, DeKalb, TX, and Everett May, AL; sisters: Levina (J.D.) Casey, Island City, OR and Ruby (Ruben) Vanyi, Vader, OR; 7 grandchildren: Landon, Billy, Sheila, Doug, Amy, Tiffany and Brandi; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorotha worked at Lady Classen Cafeteria for 11 years and then at Lubys Cafeteria for 14 years, retiring November 2009. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, February 12, 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
