Doris Jean' Weeks, 94, died on August 19th 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born June 23, 1928 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She married her first husband at the age of 16. She had two children, Lila and David. She worked for 10 years as a leather worker. Earned a Bachelors in Art-Education/Psychology. Retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 26 years of civilian service. She enjoyed chocolate, ice cream, gardening, hummingbirds, and drama television. Jean was a mother to everyone. She welcomed in anyone who needed it and treated them as family. Jean was strong, stubborn, supportive, independent, and full of unconditional love. She was extremely polite and never wanted to be a bother. She was rather quiet until you got to know her. Jean gave so much. Anyone she met felt lucky to have known her. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses, siblings, friends, children, and even grandchildren. Doris J. Weeks was a beautiful soul who is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She inspired so many others and will be greatly missed.
