Doris Marian Jackson, 85, went to be with her Lord, July 13, 2016. She was born April 24, 1931 in Ada, OK to Homer and Jessie (Young) Wyckoff. Doris lived in Seminole for 50 years before moving to OKC where she became a vital part of the Danforth Senior Community. She was an excellent baker and cook and a cut-throat card shark. She was known for her true love and being a comfort giver as well as a devoted wife and loving mother and grandma. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Johney Jackson, Sr.; son, Bruce Jackson; and daughter, Barbra Darr and husband Kenneth. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Jackson, Shirley Clute and husband John; son, Johney Jackson and wife Vera; and 3 grandchildren, Sierra Clute, Ashley Darr, and Mandy Bradley and husband Chris. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 23, 10:00am at the Danforth Senior Center, OKC. Memorials may be made to D.A.V., St. Judes, or the Audubon Society.
