Doris Jean Smith-Haithcock, 86, passed away September 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by 1st husband, Wallace R Smith (1980), 2nd husband, Dr. William D. Haithcock (2006); son, Michael; daughter, Deborah; granddaughter, Hilari Tayrien; and stepdaughter, Makesha Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Kalkbrenner and husband Bill; grandson, Josh Kalkbrenner; great grandson, Ryder Tayrien; nieces, Debra Ferreli, Barbra Welch, Toni Adkisson, Linda McCoy, Janet Landsberger, Cindy Rapp; nephews, David Landsberger, Ronnie, Mitchell, Gregory and Phil Smith; stepdaughters and husbands, Sharon and Bill Fleming, Tanya and Dr. Rodney Sandburg, Michelle and Mark Gorrell, Dana and Don Standrich, Janelle and Don Craig; plus numerous grandchildren. Jean was very special to all those that knew her and a very positive influence on everyone she met. She was an active member of the Putman City Baptist Church, choir, Friday night Domino Gang and was an avid fan of OU Women's Basketball. She was a great cook, known for her fabulous pies and cakes. She will always be remembered for sharing her love, kindness, laughter, and joy of life. Services will be held Thursday, October 2nd at 1:00 pm, at the Putnam City Baptist Church, 11401 N Rockwell, OKC, OK.
