Doris M. Demaret passed away on October 10, 2010. She was born on June 16, 1918 near Monticello, AR to Fletcher and Hattie (Cowan) Jones. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her husband, James of 66 years, a daughter Janet Kay and son-in-law Gordon Green of OKC; three grandchildren, Brian Moore and wife Kimberly of Colorado Springs, CO Roger Moore and wife Stacy of Tulsa, OK, and Krista Straw and husband Steven of Frisco TX and 6 great grandchildren. Doris was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Builders Sunday school class. She was involved with the U.M.W., Sorelle Club and the Wesley Adult Programs. She belonged to several bridge groups and book clubs. Her primary interest was her family, being a good wife, mother and grandmother, and she will continue to live in our hearts. Viewing will be from 9:00am to 9:00pm Wednesday, at Mercer-Adams. Memorial Services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK.
