Doris Jean Coburn, 89, went to her heavenly home on October 12, 2015 at Grace Living Center in Bethany. She was born September 19, 1926 in Princeton, Texas to Tom and Nora (Lane) York. A former resident of Texas and Florida, she was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bethany. Doris was a loving mother and devoted homemaker who was known for her cooking. Family was her career. She was pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Alvin York, Leon York, Paul Ray York, and J.B. York, and grandson Joshua Mount. Doris is survived by her brother, Hubert York; her daughters, Shirley Arnn, Pat Mount and husband Ron; son, Tom Coburn and wife SaDawna; 7 grandchildren: Dana Grantham and husband Matt; Micah and Michael Mount; Brad Arnn; Jon-Thomas, Chase and Trinity Coburn; and 7 great-grandchildren: Davis, Keaton and Shana Grantham; Kenzie Botkin-Arnn and Braxton Arnn; and Jackson and Porter Foote. Viewing will be Sunday, October 18 at Mercer Adams Funeral Service from 11am - 9pm with family present from 3pm - 5pm. A funeral service to honor her life will be on Monday, October 19 at 2:00pm at Mercer Adams followed by a graveside service at Bethany Cemetery.
