Doris Evelyn Bubb of Bethany, Oklahoma went peacefully to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, September 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 2, 1931 to Charles and Opal (Geiman) Ruth in Astoria, Illinois. She married her high school sweetheart, Harvey S. Bubb Jr., on December 24, 1949. They were married 66 loving years. They were members of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Stephen Brian Bubb, daughter, Sherri Jean Gay, and brother, Delbert Leroy Ruth. Survivors include daughter, Joyce Moydell and husband Mike; son, Danny Bubb and wife Becky; daughter, Ruth Madden and husband Mike; son, Tom Bubb and wife Karen; sister, Joanne Houston; 12 grandchildren, Julie Nelson, Michael Moydell, Ginger Blevins and husband Gary, Summer Morley and husband Ross, Jenny Sydnes and husband Tim, Stacey Fuleki and husband Frank, Brandy Tennyson, Amy Gee and husband Ethan, Brian Madden and wife Nickie, Lauren Bubb, Stephen Bubb, Nick Bubb and wife Lauren; 18 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Joey, Garrison, Mercedes, Sterling, Charlie, Mae, Colton, Evelyn, Brooklyn, Blake, Cory, Chanse, Sherri, Mitchell, Madison, Jake and Aiden; as well as many nieces and nephews. She has left a legacy of kindness and love. She will be missed greatly. Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, September 28, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
