Dora Florence "Jeanie" Pendergrass, 86, died Sept. 6, 2012. She was born August 6, 1926 in Ft. Towson, OK, the daughter of John and Gusta (McKee) Hamilton. She retired after 48 years in secretarial and insurance industries. She was a member of Portland Ave. Baptist Church. Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Susan Kay Pendergrass, sisters, Margaret Alice Hamilton and Mary Katheryn Hodges, niece, Vicki Naifeh, and husband, E. C. "Pete" Pendergrass. She is survived by daughter, Patty Puckett of OKC; sister, Anna Sue Scott of Ada, OK; brother, John E. Hamilton and wife Reva of Asher, OK; granddaughters, Camelia Roman and husband Marius of Waco, TX, Oana Wilson and husband Tony of Topeka, KS; great-grandchildren, Tyra Wilson, Coby Wilson, Tavi Roman and Alex Roman; beloved nephews and niece, Randy Scott, Gary Scott, John Hodges, Scott Hamilton, Teri Tulane, Jason Hamilton and their families. Services will be Sat., Sept. 8, 3:30pm at Portland Ave. Baptist Church Chapel. Burial will be Monday, Sept. 10, 1:00pm in Ft. Towson Cemetery, Ft. Towson, OK.
