Donald Edward Perryman, born Sept. 9, 1935, ended his journey on this earth on April 8, 2013. He was a retired television producer and director for KOCO-TV for more than 40 years. He started his broadcast career in radio in 1947 while still in junior high school. He was very proud of his association with the 179th Infantry Regt. and with various Masonic organizations. He was an avid amateur radio operator, operating under the call of W5VBH. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Edward and Goldie (Ball) Perryman, his sister, Nancy, and his loving wife of almost 53 years, Ann. He is survived by his son, Brian Perryman of OKC; daughters, Karen Freeman of Sun Prairie, WI, and Kathryn Mercer of OKC; grandchildren, Vincent, Tony, Angela, Madison, KaiLi, Kaylyn, Kiara, Kellen, Josh and Darla; and great-granddaughter, Elle. Services will be Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Memorial Park.
