Dona Irene Mize, 99, passed away December 14, 2013 in Oklahoma City. She was born January 28, 1914 in McCurtain, OK, the daughter of Sam and Susie Gertrude (Daniels) Fout. On December 9, 1930, she married Elzie Ray Mize in McCurtain, OK. Dona was a House Mother and Counselor at the Sunbeam Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Survivors include her children, Bill Mize and wife Barbara, Shirley Hicks and husband Leon, all of OKC; sister, Loretha Whitson, Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Terry Hicks and wife Beth, Randal Hicks, Randy Hicks and wife Cindi, Steve McGlinley and wife Kathy, Linda Yarrow and husband Jeff and David McGlinley and wife Deanne;12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
