Obituary

On May 19, 2017, Don Reynolds Senn entered Heavens gates. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Elwin Senn, his son, Michael, and brother, Ronald. Don was born September 26, 1932 in Geary, Oklahoma. He lived most of his life in Oklahoma except for the 8 years he served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Navy Sea-Bee during the Korean Conflict. He spent 3 years on Guam, time in the Philippines and also California. Don was a true American patriot and honored his country always. Don is survived by his wife, Linda. They were happily married for over fifty years. They were longtime members of Council Road Baptist Church where Don served many of those years as a deacon to the church body. He was also secretary to Senior Adult Six, his much-loved Sunday School Department. Love of God, church, family and home best describe Dons life. He is also survived by his daughter, Alyssa Seward and her children, Anastasia and Colton Seward. Surviving also is son, Paul, wife Pamela and their son, Richard, wife Becky and their daughters, Harper and Hadley. Also surviving is granddaughter, Yvonne, husband Jared Collett and their sons, Edmond and Alexander; Michaels daughter, Ashley, husband Casey Alexander and sons, Thomas and Jeremiah also survive. Michaels son, Justin and wife Natalie and his son, Collin also remain. Dons brother-in-law, Oliver Copeland also preceded him in death and surviving is his sister-in-law, Carol Copeland. The "Tennessee Senns" surviving are his sister-in-law, Dorothy Senn, her son, Mark and wife Susan and their daughter, Samantha; son, David, son, Stephen and his children, Rebecca and Jeremy. Dons family was much loved. Even when his health was failing and it took almost a super human effort, he attended all the birthday parties, recitals, and school functions and did whatever the children and the "grands" wanted him to do. Memorial service will be held Monday, May 22, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park. Funeral Service Monday, May 22, 2017 02:00 PM Mercer-Adams Chapel 3925 N.
