Don D. Dawson, 86, died December 22, 2011. He was born February 5, 1925 in Wanette, OK to R.B. and Verna B. (McAfee) Dawson. He was a longtime member of the International Union of Painters & Allied Traders. An avid hunter, fisherman and farmer, he was also a lover of music throughout his entire life. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Lou Burton, he is survived by his wife, Irene, and her children; sister, JoAnn Whittaker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wed., Dec. 28, 10:00am in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Frontier Hospice or Warr Acres Senior Center.
