Dixie Mae Stair, age 97, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2024. She was born on July 17, 1926, in Buffalo, Oklahoma, to Dae Milton Collier and Eula Lucille Bayne.

Dixie was a past president and very active member of the Delta Theta Chi Sorority – Taygeta Province. She was a charter member at Memorial Christian Church.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents; beloved spouse of 56 years, Argyle Wayne Stair; her two sons, Michael Stair and Steven Stair; and granddaughter, Amy Eitz.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Stair of Missouri, nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
