Diane Michele Haxel was the best momma in the Universe. She peacefully transitioned from this physical life on November 1st, 2020, surrounded by her family, at the age of 66. Diane was born on February 9th, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Lynn Haxel, on July 6th, 1973; they were married for 47 years when Mike passed away in 2013. Diane and Mike had a wonderful life together and shared a rare and beautiful love. In 1975, she and Mike were blessed with their daughter, Loralyn, and in 1978, their son, Russell. They were best friends with Dianes sister, Lynda and Lyndas late husband, Mike, and enjoyed spontaneous family gatherings with late night desserts, coffee, games, and lots of laughs. Diane was a wonderful artist and enjoyed illustrating, reading, writing, and sharing spiritual conversations with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Phyllis Saunders, her brothers-in-law, Mike Henry, and Dick Haxel, and her husband, Mike Haxel. She is survived by her sister, Lynda Henry, her daughter, Loralyn Biggers (and husband Matthew), her son, Russell Haxel, her grandchildren: Caelyn, Robi, Klaire, and Rylan, and Lyndas children: Kevin, Chris, Brian, and Kelly, and their families. Dianes celebration of life will be a very informal, come-and-go, on Thursday, November 5th, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, 3925 N. Asbury Avenue, Bethany, Oklahoma, 73008, with happy music, lots of love, and words shared by Kevin Henry and Caelyn Hamilton. Diane was the best momma in the Universe.
