Denise Louise Hendricks, 73, passed away May 28, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born April 29, 1952, in Oklahoma City to James and Marilyn (Wiedman) Cavanaugh. An air force "brat," she lived in Dreux, France; Kern County, California; and Honolulu, Hawaii before returning to El Reno and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1970. She experienced a long career in banking beginning with First National Bank and ending with IBC Bank upon her retirement in 2018. She enjoyed a quiet retirement reading books on history, watching the OKC Thunder, spending birthdays and holidays with family, and lunch outings with her sister Candi.

She is survived by her sons; Trent Hendricks (wife Tara) and Ryan Hendricks (wife Sarah); grandchildren, Madison, Molly and Michael; sister, Candice Sheppard; brothers, Chris "Kip" Ward, and Tim Ward; aunts, Connie Holiman and Kaye Barnes; and her six nephews, Matthew, Marcus, Joe, Sam, Davis, and Connor. All who knew and loved her will miss her dearly.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service Chapel.
