Del was born in Dewar, Oklahoma February 5, 1935 to Doyle Andrew Livesay and Mable Juanita (Guynn) Livesay. She graduated from Pryor High School in 1952. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing at every opportunity. Her vocal abilities were sought after for church events, weddings, birthdays, and she sang a chilling rendition of "Youll Never Walk Alone", at her high school graduation. She married the love of her life, Jack Sanders, in 1963, combining his and hers to make their family of eight. She worked as an administration assistant for an insurance company and then for World Neighbors until she retired to care for her family. Dels faith in God was unwavering, ever strong. She was very warm, funny, and giving. She loved to dance and met her future husband, Jack, at a church social dance she had attended with her brother Jim as chaperone. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rob Mythen, son, Ken Sanders, and daughter Cheryl Garland. She is survived by her husband Jack, of the home; sons, Keith Sanders, Kenneth and wife Clara Sanders, Bob and wife Deb Sanders and daughter, Carol Sanders; sisters, Darlene Power and husband Fred, Joni Weichbrodt and husband Steve, Brother Jim Mythen and wife Kay; son in law, Steve Garland; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Tues., Dec. 12, 2017 from 9:00am to 9:00pm with family present from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Mercer- Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 1:00pm at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
